Static Transfer Switch (STS) for Circuit

Static Transfer Switch(STS) is an automatic static switching equipment designed to transfer critical loads between two independent AC power sources with a transfer time to ensure uninterrupted power availability when a power outage occurs. When the first circuit fails, STS automatically switches to the second circuit to supply power to the load. If the second circuit fails, STS automatically switches to the first circuit to supply power to the load. Suitable for uninterrupted power conversion of any two power sources such as UPS-UPS, UPS generator, UPS mains, and mains mains.The STS consists of Silicon controlled rectifiers (SCR’s), control & sensing circuits to monitor the incoming sources and transfer the critical loads connected to the secondary source when the primary source fails.
