The most scientific and efficient maintenance solution for a Lead-acid Battery is undoubtedly the Three-stage charging method. The entire intelligent charging process is divided into three closely connected stages.
It begins with the Constant Current Phase, where the Charging Current remains steady at a high level, causing the battery voltage to rise gradually and quickly restoring about 80% of the capacity.
Once the voltage reaches the preset peak, it enters the Constant Voltage Phase. At this point, the Charging Voltage is held at a high, constant level, while the charging current automatically decreases as the battery nears full saturation. This phase is responsible for thoroughly topping off the battery.
After the battery is fully charged, it switches to the crucial Float Phase, where the voltage is automatically reduced to a safe, low level, providing only a very small current to compensate for self-discharge. Scientific three-stage management effectively suppresses Gassing, preventing water loss and swelling.
