The power grid issues downlink commands. The dispatching layer integrates functions including AGC (Automatic Generation Control), AVC (Automatic Voltage Control), primary frequency regulation and telecontrol for photovoltaic and energy storage systems. Through communication channels, the dispatching layer sends commands to the station control layer.
The station control layer consists of the booster station SCADA system, PV power forecasting system and PV-ESS coordinated control system. With the HMI interface, PV-ESS power optimization scheduling algorithm and real-time coordinated control module, the PV-ESS coordinated control system implements control and scheduling of the underlying photovoltaic and energy storage systems.
Coordinated control commands are separately delivered to the PV EMS and ESS EMS. On the PV side, the PV SCADA system and PV coordinated control system undertake management. On the energy storage side, the ESS SCADA system and ESS coordinated control system are responsible for management.
The PV EMS sends scheduling commands to PV equipment (inverters, box-type transformers, combiner boxes) and receives real-time status feedback.
The ESS EMS sends scheduling commands to energy storage equipment (battery cells, BMS, battery cabin auxiliary systems, PCS, box transformer measurement and control units) and receives real-time status feedback.
The PV power forecasting system provides data support for the coordinated control system. Combined with real-time coordinated control and optimal scheduling algorithms, it realizes dynamic power balance and optimization of photovoltaic and energy storage.
