This module adopts PFC and full-bridge high-frequency conversion technology, with a rated input of AC220V (187V–253V wide fluctuation range) and 1500W constant power output. Switched via an external toggle switch, it shifts between two modes: charger mode delivers DC116V constant voltage with 13A limited current to charge the train’s 110V 60Ah low-rate Ni-Cd battery; rectifier mode outputs stable DC110V to sustain all onboard DC electrical loads. Identical main and control circuits enable mutual replacement of charging and rectifier units, greatly cutting spare part inventory and after-sales maintenance costs for rail operators.
Weighing under 4kg with dimensions 330×140×100mm, the compact black enamel housing features forced air cooling controlled by thermal resistors, efficiency above 88%, power factor ≥0.9 and noise below 50dB at 1 meter. Built-in comprehensive safety protections cover battery undervoltage, output short-circuit, input over/under voltage, output overvoltage and overheating.
