24Vdc Power supply of NASN POWER can be provided from one of 2 sources: an industrial AC network of 220 V, 50 Hz; a direct current source (battery).
AC power is supplied to the inputs of the power supplies (rectifiers). The battery powers product when there is no AC voltage at the rectifier inputs.
A battery is connected in parallel to the rectifier output. The battery charging current is measured using a shunt, and the battery is switched to the output using a relay.
The loads are connected to the pins "Output = 24 V" observing the power polarity (Picture 1.2). The pins "Output = 24 V" are located on the back side of the product. For load current protection (process equipment) and power supply installation, load protection fuses and a network fuse are used.
Control of power supply system, fault, error and emergency situation signaling is performed by the controller, which also provides remote monitoring of the power supply system.
A temperature sensor is used to measure the battery temperature.
